BRUTALISM
As a personal project I sought to emulate the style and atmosphere of brutalist poster design and street wear A blend of cynicism, pseudo philosophical advice, societal rebellion, hot takes and religious doctrine build the DNA of this art movement. Its oppressive nature paired with hostile yet trendy elements stood out to me.

Harsh tones, contrasts and a need to overwhelm are some of the key factors. Despite its crowded appearance it is incredibly planned and organized with intense precision.
A somber beauty is lays in the undertone with its violent visual style. Like a cornered animal ready to strike - it bites not out of malice; but fear. A sobering reminder of being human.
